Baltimore, Maryland: The City that Reads, and the Greatest City in America

Does anyone have experience with HomeWorks property manager? The company seems very sketchy

I am looking for a rental which has been really tough this time of year. I saw a great property in Remington but there were a number of red flags surrounding the management situation.

The property manager is a company called HomeWorks (formerly ManageBaltimore.com LLC.) We got a weird sense from our showing, and the online reviews seem to confirm that this is a shady company.

They list two offices in Baltimore, but I’m not sure if those are even real or whether most of their “employees” are overseas. People online complain of things like black mold not getting addressed and contractors not getting paid.

Has anyone had any experiences good or bad with this company? Normally i would steer clear but I desperately need a rental and they manage a nice house.
