What Is Parental Love

Parental love is characterized by warmth, affection, care, comfort, concern, nurture, support, acceptance, or love that a child can feel from their parents. The parent’s love for their child can be felt when they kiss, hug, praise, compliment, or say nice things to or about them.

Children need parents or caregivers to provide specific types of positive responses to develop physically and mentally.

This form of response is often interpreted as an act of parental love.

Without a parent’s love, children feel rejected.

Parental rejection is experienced as cold, unaffectionate, hostile, aggressive, indifferent, emotionally neglected , or lack of care.

Rejection is manifested in behavior such as hitting, pinching, mocking, shouting, cursing, belittling, uncaring, unconcerned, uncaring, or saying unkind or sarcastic things to the child.

Some parents may also appear bitter, resentful, irritable, impatient, or antagonistic toward their children.

The Power Of Parental Love

Parents are attachment figures according to the Attachment Theory . A quality parent-child relationship is uniquely important to children, since a child’s sense of emotional security and psychological well-being is dependent on it.

As a result, parental love has an unparalleled influence on a child’s character , personality development and outcomes .

Perception of parental love or rejection accounts for 26% of children’s psychological adjustment and 21% of adult’s psychological adjustment.

According to the Enduring Effects model of development, the associations between early parental love and positive outcomes later in life is enduring and relatively constant across childhood, adolescence, and adulthood.

The importance of parents’ love or its absence cannot be underestimated.

Parental love can benefit a child in the following ways.

Success In Life

Parental love is critical in a child’s success in life .

Harvard University carried out a special study in 1938 to find out how to raise successful people.

The Harvard Grant Study, a first-of-its-kind study, tracked the 70-year trajectory of 268 Harvard students, including John F. Kennedy.

The physical and emotional health of each participant was recorded, and their successes, or lack thereof, were analyzed.

Researchers reached a clear conclusion:

Happy and successful lives are rooted in a good relationship with parents .

A feeling of acceptance, nurture, and parental love during childhood is one of the adults’ best predictors of future success, happiness, and life satisfaction.

Physical Health

Another Harvard study, the Harvard Mastery Of Stress Study, was conducted in the 1950s.

Researchers found that those who did not experience parent-child love were more than twice as likely to develop physical illnesses 35 years later, including coronary artery disease, hypertension, duodenal ulcer, and alcoholism.

Self-Esteem And Self-Adequacy

Children who grow up feeling loved and accepted by their parents tend to have a higher self-esteem.

Those who feel rejected as children develop low self-esteem and self-worth.

Their view of themselves tends to reflect that of their parents.

Lack of parental love and acceptance left them feeling unlovable and unworthy, which led to low self-worth.

Social Competence

Kids who feel loved and accepted by their parents tend to be more socially competent.

Parents and children develop their social behavioral orientation through repeated, familiar interactions .

These interactions carry over into peer interactions.

Academic Competence

Academic achievement is also higher among children who perceive being loved and accepted.

As with social competence, the effects of parental love on academic competence persist into adulthood.

Emotional Regulation

Children develop their own skills by observing their parents’ emotional regulation behaviors and modeling them.

Children, whose mothers show loving and caring emotions, use very different strategies to handle emotional problems.

Children with accepting and loving parents tend to have better emotional regulation.

Mental Health

Adolescents growing up with parental love have better psychological adjustment.

From 45 years of nearly 2000 studies, cross-culturally analyzed data shows that children who have experienced a lack of parenting love may suffer from psychological maladjustment.

Those who grew up feeling rejected are more likely to develop depression, substance abuse and other mentally-related issues .

They also tend to have more behavior problems, conduct disorder and delinquency.

What Can Affect Parental Love

The bonding between parents and children can lead to parental love, and three things can affect how parents and children bond.

Parental Characteristics

Parents’ personality, mental wellbeing, and attachment representations have been linked to early  bonding and parental love.

For example, studies have shown that prenatal love tends to be better if the mother is more extroverted, conscientious, and agreeable.

Higher levels of depressive and/or anxiety symptoms of mothers during pregnancy are negatively related to the formation of the prenatal maternal bond.

Bonding between parents and children is also affected by parents’ upbringing and early experiences with relationships.

Parents with positive memories of their own upbringing tend to bond more positively with their children.

Parents’ internal working models have a significant influence on how responsive they are to their child.

Child Characteristics

Infant temperament has been found to be associated with parental bonding.

A child with a more difficult temperament causes more parental stress and receives less parental bonding.

Children with these characteristics show more negative affect and  less self-regulation. They are also more likely to develop behavior problems.

Contextual Sources

Parental feelings and behaviors, and therefore parental bonding, can be influenced by situations.

For example, one parent’s feelings may affect those of the other parent.

Also, fathers who have better partner support are more likely to bond with their children.

Narrative Essay: I Love My Parents

Parents are the closest people that we have in our lives, whether we realize it or not. They love us not because we are smart, beautiful, successful or we have a good sense of humour, but just because we are their children. I, too, love mom and dad simply because they are my parents, but I think I would have felt the same even if they weren’t. I love who they are as people, each with their own individual traits – and, together, forming an amazing super-team that’s made me who I am today and taught me what life is all about.

My mother is a cheerful, chatty perfectionist who seems to always find something to get excited about and who can talk for hours about animals and flowers. She is never afraid to speak her mind and she can be very convincing when she wants to. She sometimes get upset a bit too easily, but she is just as quick to forgive and forget. I love mom for all that she is – even when she’s angry – for all that she has done for me, and for all that she’s taught me. My mom has been through a lot throughout the years, but she always kept fighting. She taught me to never lose hope even in the direst of moments, and she showed me how to look for happiness in the small things. She’s been trying to teach me to be more organized as well, but hasn’t succeeded yet. I love her for that too.

My father is quiet, patient and calm, and he has an adorable hit-and-miss sense of humour. I may not always find his jokes that funny, but I love him for trying. Dad almost never gets angry and he is always polite, friendly and nice to everyone. He is not the one to verbalize emotions, but he always shows his feelings through sweet gestures and little surprizes. He is the pacifist in our family and never goes against mom’s wishes, but he runs a large company witha firm hand. I love my father for all these characteristics and for all he’s sacrificed to build a better life for us. He’s worked day and night to ensure we afford good education and have a rich, wonderful childhood, and he has passed up many great opportunities for the benefit of our family. I love dad because he’s taught me that you cannot have it all in life, but with hard work and dedication, you can have what matters most to you.

Mom and dad may be very different people, but they complement each other perfectly. Together, they formed a super-team that was always there – and, thankfully, still is – to provide comfort, nurturing, and support and help me grow as a person. Their complementary personalities bring balance in our family, and each of them steps in whenever they are needed the most. Together, they taught me to believe in myself and have turned me into a fighter. Their care and dedication towards me and each other has served as an example of what healthy relationships should be like, and I love and admire them for that.

I love my parents because they are my parents, my good friends, my heroes, my role models, my safe haven, my pillars of strength.I am who I am today thanks to them, and I know that their support and affection will play an essential role in what I will become in the future. All I can hope is that, when I have children of my own, I will be half as good a parent as they were to me.

It is a love that accepts, supports, and cherishes a child, regardless of their actions, decisions, or circumstances. This love is the foundation of a healthy parent-child relationship and plays a crucial role in a child’s development.

A Safe Haven of Acceptance

Unconditional love creates a safe and nurturing environment where children feel accepted and valued for who they are. It allows them to express themselves freely, explore their passions, and learn from their mistakes without fear of judgment or rejection. This sense of acceptance boosts a child’s self-esteem, confidence, and resilience, empowering them to face life’s challenges with courage and determination.

A Source of Comfort and Support

Life’s journey is often filled with ups and downs. When children encounter difficulties, unconditional love provides a comforting and supportive presence. 500 Words Essay on Unconditional Love Of Parents

What is unconditional love.

Unconditional love means loving someone without any conditions or limits. This kind of love is pure and does not change no matter what happens. Parents are often the best examples of unconditional love. They care for their children, support them, and love them, no matter what. This essay will talk about the unconditional love of parents and its importance in our lives.

The Beginning of Unconditional Love

The journey of unconditional love starts the moment a child is born. Parents feel an instant connection and vow to protect and love their child forever. Parents celebrate their child’s successes and support them through failures, showing that their love does not change with circumstances.

Support and Sacrifice

Parents not only provide for their children but also guide them through life. They teach right from wrong, help with difficult decisions, and offer wisdom gained from their own experiences. Even when children make mistakes, parents use these moments as lessons rather than reasons for punishment. They understand that making mistakes is part of growing up and learning about the world.

Unconditional Love Teaches Love

By loving their children unconditionally, parents teach them how to love. Children learn about trust, respect, and the importance of loving others without conditions. This lesson is invaluable and helps children grow into caring, empathetic adults. The love shared between parents and children creates a strong bond that lasts a lifetime.

Challenges of Unconditional Love

My parents: A modern love story

parental love essay

I’ve grown up surrounded by love stories, however, my favorite is my parent’s. Their love story started out as quite the opposite. Back in 1983, on Thanksgiving, my parents met skiing when they shared the same condo. My dad, a rebel/bad boy, and my mom, straight-edge and kind, started off on the wrong foot and it stayed like that for years. They ran in the same circles as they had grown to have the same friends, but nothing changed between them until the fateful Halloween night of 1988. He was dressed in suit and tie and she as the beautiful Cleopatra. He went home that night with two phone numbers, but only one mattered: my mom’s.

They dated for five years and then in 1992, my mom was offered a job in Singapore with the company she worked for. That Christmas, my dad proposed and she made the easy decision to stay in the states with him over moving across the world and starting her life over. She had her masters and was able to stay with the company in Massachusetts so this decision didn’t affect her financially. They were married that following July in the backyard of the house my dad grew up in. It was a small, intimate wedding with a live band filled with magic and love.

They spent their honeymoon just like the rest of their marriage, exploring. Specifically, the wildlife of Alaska in kayaks and tents. They waited three years to have their first kid (me!) and spent those years traveling across the world together just as they had while they were dating. With me in the picture, they took me with them.

Soon, my sister joined our family and she came along to explore the world with us. Then they adopted my brother. When he was diagnosed with cancer, and eventually lost his battle, my family was stronger and closer than ever. My parents stayed strong through it all but still showed their emotions in a healthy manner. A few years later, they adopted my other brother and supported and loved him just as they had/do with their other children. Currently, they are going through the adoption process again and soon, they will have their fifth kid!

They have been through a lot over the last 34 years, but have been there supporting each other through it all. My dad still brings her flowers from their garden. He picks them and puts them in a vase on the kitchen table for her and when those die, he replenishes them with a new bouquet. He is also a musician in a band and she still goes to all of his gigs acting like his own personal groupie.

What I have learned through watching them interact with each other is something I will keep with me for the rest of my life. I know what a healthy and successful relationship looks like and won’t accept anything less. Through their love for each other, the love has spread to us and from us to others. Their children are accepting, loving, empathetic, adventurous, outgoing, spontaneous and fun-loving because of them and their love.

parental love essay

There is nothing greater than a parent’s love for his or her child. It’s the greatest form of love that we feel almost every single day of our lives. They are there to nurture us, take care of us, watch us grow, teach us, discipline us, and a lot more other things that they do for our sake. We all should know that all our parents ever wanted is what’s the best for us. They would never do anything or decide on anything that may potentially bring harm to us. When we are hurt, they are also hurt. They strive to keep us happy and secure all the time. Make sure to give love to your parents at all times. To make you understand better how much our parents love us, here are the best, most heartwarming stories about a parent’s love.

  • SINGLE DAD GIVES ALL THE LOVE TO ADOPTIVE DAUGHTER WITH DOWN SYNDROME

Taking care of a child known to have down syndrome is not easy compared to having a child that can completely understand you. This could be one of the reasons why 20 families have turned down adoption after knowing that baby Alba has Down Syndrome. Yet, she finally found a family with Luca Trapanese who knew right away, the moment that he saw her, that he wanted to adopt her and call his daughter.

Luca shared how joy filled his heart when he held Alba in his arms. He lives in Italy, where adoption laws often exclude single parents in terms of adoption, unless the child has some sort of developmental disability. He knew deep in his heart that he desperately wanted to be a dad and is willing to raise a child that has special needs. This desire of his even led to him spending years working with disabled children. He explained that he has volunteered and worked with the disabled since he was 14 which made him feel that he has the right knowledge and experience to do it.

Luca and Alba have been together for over a year and a half now, and Luca already published a book that talks about their father and daughter story. He is hoping that it can somehow change the perceptions and stereotypes linked with single parenting. He showed so much love and care as she brought him happiness and a sense of fulfillment in return. Luca is proud to be her dad and will continue to be as they both face the upcoming years together. He shared how excited he is in spending his life with the girl he loves and that they will do a lot of wonderful things together.

Every child is important, no matter what their imperfections they have. Despite their differences, each one of them deserves the love and care of a parent who will love them unconditionally and will continue to guide and support them as they grow. A true parent will not abandon their child no matter how hard life could get. Children’s innocence should not be painted early with the cruel things the world has, yet they deserve to be protected and taught well so that when they grow up to be adults, they will be great parents as well.

  • BRAVE DAD SAVES DAUGHTER FROM A 12 FOOT ALLIGATOR

Dads have been portrayed as heroes for many years and a lot of incidents proved this including the story of Andrew Grande. He was a father to a 5-year old named AJ and 4-year old Brandalyn who were with their babysitter, on the dock by the canal behind the house when something unusual happened. As Andrew is preparing for work and is on his way to kiss his kids goodbye, he notices an alligator’s head is coming out of the water and is headed towards his daughter. Adrenaline may have caused him to act fast as he immediately made his way to the creature’s path, pushed the babysitter and his son through the gate and back into the yard, just in time. Thankfully, the nearly 12-foot alligator didn’t have a chance to attack anyone that day. It first retreated but continued to pop back up several times which alarmed Andrew and his family and led to the animal being captured and relocated to an alligator rescue in Texas. Another dad saved the day!

  • PARENTS REFUSE TO ABORT MIRACLE BABY

Every child will be precious to a mother’s eyes, despite the imperfections they might possibly have. During the 19-week mark of pregnancy, soon to be mother of two, Vanessa McLeod discovered that her newest daughter would be born with abnormality. Doctors told her that their baby would be missing both arms and hands and was also warned of the possibility of having a cleft lip, curved femur, and also heart issues. They offered their best suggestion to the McLeod family, which is to abort the baby, but Vanessa was determined that her baby would remain alive.

It had never crossed Vanessa’s mind that one of her babies would suffer such a condition. She wasn’t prepared that it shattered her vision of her perfect little baby. With all the emotional devastation the news has brought to the family, Vanessa’s father told her that the baby would be a blessing to the family, and she did. Ivy was born four weeks premature but she managed to live. Vanessa’s story showed hope despite having fear, and it turns out her decision to keep her was right.

  • DOCTOR TOLD THEM THAT BABY WAS DEAD BUT THE MOM NEVER GAVE UP

Being first time parents can be a really happy and exciting time for most people. The feeling that in a few months, you’ll be able to hold a new little baby in your arms and call him your own. That’s exactly what married couple Kate and David Ogg felt. More surprises were heading their way when they found out that they were having twins. It is very exciting to have a baby, let alone having two at the same time. However, their lives were filled with worry when Kate had gone into labor in just 26 weeks.

Although it is pretty normal that twins are rarely conceived up to full term, 26 weeks is also a bit early for some. There was a lot of stress and worry at that day but what they didn’t know is that they’ll receive news that will shatter their hearts. After giving birth, they were told that they had a boy and a girl. However, Kate was already confused when they only asked if they have already come up with a name for the baby boy. The couple decided on the name Jamie and were really happy about it but the next news immediately crashed their happiness.

They were told that Jamie didn’t survive and handed him over. Without any words, Kate immediately took the baby and held him close to her. She called for her husband to climb up the bed and give the baby as much heat as possible. They embraced him for some time and then suddenly, by some miracle, the baby moved in Kate’s arms. The couple were shocked and looked at the baby who’s moving and breathing. They immediately called for the doctors to come quick. On this day, the twins are already 10 years old and are both at the most perfect health as they can be.

  • GLEE ACTRESS NAYA RIVERA SAVES HER BABY BOY JUST A FEW MINUTES BEFORE SHE DROWNED TO HER DEATH

A mother’s love is endless and unconditional, especially when it comes to her child. She is willing to do anything, even if it means that she will be losing her own life. On July 8th of the year 2020, well known actress Naya Rivera took her 4-year-old son, Josey, out for a fun day at Lake Piru in California. Rivera is well known for her role as Santana Lopez on the hit TV series Glee. She and her son rented a pontoon boat from the docks but at some point, something went horribly wrong. A few hours after renting the boat, his son Josey was discovered alone on the pontoon boat which alarmed the lake crews that were searching for them. The only eye witness to Rivera’s disappearance was her son, Josey. All he could remember was swimming on the lake with his mom, but only he had a life vest on. He remembered her mom pushing him up to the boat but when he turned around, she was gone. Tragically, Naya’s body turned up after five days, on the same date that her Glee co-star Cory Monteith had died seven years ago, and autopsy results confirmed that the cause of death was drowning. Authorities suspect that the tragedy happened after Naya and Josey jumped into the lake for a swim and Naya didn’t put her life vest on.

Naya may have lost her life but her death wasn’t put in vain as she fought with all her strength in hopes of saving her son. She has mustered enough energy to get her son back to the boat, but not enough to save herself. It breaked a lot of hearts as many longed that Naya could have also made it to safety too. But, as a loving mother, comfort may be found in knowing that she was able to save her son. Josey may not realize the sacrifice of his mom, but as he gets older, he can look back at the unconditional love his mom had for him.

  • JALANDHAR NAYAK’S PERSEVERANCE TO MAKE HIS CHILDREN ATTEND SCHOOL

In a remote village in India’s state of Orissa, school children must walk through 10 kilometers or almost 6 miles of thick brush, climb up and down through hills and boulders in each direction for three hours. This is what makes it understandable why many of these kids chose to give up on their education. But as a father, Jalandhar Nayak was really determined that his sons would receive an education and he is willing to do anything for them. His boys moved closer to the school, and Nayak began to work. Bringing only a pickaxe and a crowbar, Nayak began to clear a road to the village during 2016. He pushed boulders and dug the earth in order to make a flat surface. He worked from morning to sundown, tirelessly doing his mission for eight hours a day every day, for two years straight. A local news outlet heard about Nayak’s story. The government saw how the village badly needed a road, so they paid him for his time and took over the construction where he left off. Once he got the media’s attention, he requested that the village get access to running water and electricity, too. After generations of this village having been so far removed from civilization, one man’s actions helped the entire village. Sometimes, it takes someone to take the initiative to take action on a problem. And that deed could be the start of something great. Instead of just sitting around, worrying and complaining about the hardships of life, he saw that he could do something and he did.

  • COURAGEOUS DAD BATTLES A HUGE BEAR AT HOME

Parents will do everything in their power to keep their children from harm. Even if it does mean that he or she will be battling a huge bear. It may sound bizarre, but it’s a true experience of a dad named Dave Chernosky. He was awakened by loud crashing noises from their kitchen. He remembered hoping that it wasn’t a bear but going to the kitchen, he saw his worst fear realized. All he knew was that he needed to get rid of this bear as his twins were sleeping peacefully in the other room. He was totally overpowered by the bear which had hit him on the side of his head but thankfully, one was enough for the bear. All Dave did was to shout to the bear and it fled. He immediately called for help and was immediately treated for the wounds that he had acquired during the brawl. Authorities have also caught the bear after following its tracks. This situation reminded those who lived in areas in bear county to be vigilant and make sure to have items and follow instructions on bear safety.

  • A DOG MOM ADOPTS A NEW BABY MONKEY

Losing a lot of those who you love can be pretty devastating. This happens not only to humans, but also with animals. However, it can be a really pretty sight to see two completely different animal species getting along with each other, much less if they become inseparable. That is exactly what happened to the next happy story in our list. A dog mom lost all of her entire litter of puppies and you can just imagine how devastating that was for a mother to lose all of her children. However, the sadness did not last very long when that dog met a baby capuchin monkey. The baby lost her mom too, at a young age, and no one is there to care for her. Luckily, the dog mom took her in and nursed the baby monkey until she can live by herself. However, what happened was the monkey never left the dog even when he could live on his own now. The two became inseparable and started a long and strong relationship and love that only a mother could give to her child.

  • PARENTAL LOVE FOR EVERY CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES

Mohamed Bzeek and his wife Dawn immigrated to California from Libya with his wife. They are like the other couples who had big dreams and never expected that their only son would be born with brittle bone disease and dwarfism. Dawn fostered a few children in their home, but she tragically died, leaving Mohamed to take care for their disabled son by himself. Mohamed knew that there were other parents who had children with disabilities and how they were given up for adoption. During that time, there is an estimated number of 600 orphaned children with terminal illnesses found in Los Angeles County. Most of them die alone in a hospital despite the fact that their biological parents are still alive. Mohamed Bzeek has decided to do something which he then ends up fostering as many children with terminal illnesses as he can. He wanted to make sure that these kids receive the love and care of a real home before they die. During his sixties, he found out that he had cancer and needed to go to the hospital for surgery. Without a wife or any family able to be there, he recovered in the hospital alone while an in-home nurse cared for the children. After his story was on the news, a GoFundMe page was created to help Mohamed and these kids. When this article was written, he had received over $500,000 in donations which is still possibly used to help those in need. Most of our stories included how one man was able to make an impact by stepping out among the crowds. In the eyes of a father, Mohamed saw the sad scenario that these kinds of kids suffer. Despite their illnesses, he knew that they still deserve love. In this world that seeks perfection in every aspect, he proved that love is still found even with the imperfections of these young. They lived and that’s one great blessing he had received in his life.

How parental love influences their children

The way parents carry out their day to day activities have a big impact on the growth and development of their children. It is depicted that the strength provided by the parental love influences the children throughout their lives (Sarah, 11). Parents are expected to be available during the key milestone stages of their children. Examples of these stages are birthdays, dating of first boyfriend or girlfriend and even acquiring of driving license. This gives them a sense of great affection from their parents and thus most will focus on working towards structuring their lives according to advice given by the parent. During such occasions, the child does not influence herself with an irresponsible behavior simply because the guide is readily available. According to Child Trend and the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, children should be supported spiritually by their parents at all times in order to avoid reckless behaviors. They outlined that, in the event where the children are not nurtured in a divine way, they are forced to fill their souls with faith substitutes such as sex and drugs.

Steps for effective parental love

Walk the walk, dont just talk and talk

Parents are required to always do the demonstrative channel on positive living to their children instead of continuous lecturing on dos and donts. They ought to live according to rules and standards which guide their children to live within them. This is because young people like copying what their seniors more so their parents exercise.

Listen to your teen

Parents should always be available to listen and solve problems which affect their children. Paying close attention and being genuine to them serves a great deal in their development.

Realize that you impact a lot of teens beyond your own

In the current world we live, divorce and separations among couples is so rampant. This has subjected many children into a sense of alienation and thus seeking of attention from parents to their friends is looming. Therefore, one ought to be always ready to touch lives of such children by practicing pacesetting functionalism to them.

Importance of parental love

Parental love has a great drive in the life of a child. This is because it improves parent-child communication in an explicit manner. Children who experience parental love and guidance are always free to give out their taught and feeling to their parents. This leads to early cutting off of undesirable attitudes of the child towards certain life issues such as drugs (Headey, Muffels, and Gert, 9). Additionally, children who have parental passion are deemed to have high self-esteem. This makes them to grow in a way which is fear free since majority want to always grasp what is enticing in all fields of life. Most of them succeed since nothing which stops one from obtaining whatever they are yearning for in this competitive and sophisticated world. Moreover, they have a well-organized mechanism of problem-focused coping styles. This is as a result of continuous positive growth under the umbrella of the parents. This exposes them by seeing how their parents deal with life matters and therefore, when it comes to them, the way to do the same becomes simpler. Besides this, they are also expected to succeed academically. Most parents who love their children tend to guide them towards the best choices of life such as education. Apart from direction, they also enroll them in good and academic giant schools. This boosts the morale of the children to a hard-working one as required by the parent and the dictation of the environment in which one schools in. Furthermore, affectionate parents lead to decreased psychological and behavioral problems among their children. Emotional issues such as separation from ones lover is easily delve with since the curb between the parent and the child is minimal. The child has a room for expressing the problems which has led one to a stressing state. On the other hand, the parent is there to provide a shoulder for the kid to lean on (Cox, 17). In most cases, this leads to reduced suicidal affairs among the teens given that the correct guidelines and life format is provided by the parents. Behavioral problems for instance teen pregnancy and drug abuse is limited among this group of children. This is because their parents always gives them the things to feed into their minds and souls and thus room for immorality and bad lifestyle do not have a room.

It has been depicted that there are some factors which influences the rate at which parental love is administered to children all over the world. One of these factors is the race of the parents. The whites are seen as the most loving parents all over the world with a percentage close to 90. Most of them caress their children at least twice a day. The Hispanias are graded secondly with a parental love of 75%. They are also viewed as good parents and they like creating time for their children. The blacks in this category are ranked lastly with parental love measured at a tune of less than 68%. Likewise, age of a child has also been seen as a factor when it comes to administration of love to the kids. Children under the age of three are the most loved as compared to the other ages having a percentage of 91. Parents embrace and provide a constant care for them while those between age 10 and 12 do not receive this special attention at all . In addition to that, education factor has also been analyzed to have magnitude when it comes to love administration for the children (Headey, Muffels, and Gert, 28). It is stated that those parents whom did not go beyond form four do not provide parental love to their children as required. They are rated at 65% while those who have diplomas are better with parental rate of 75% whereas those who have degrees are rated at 91%. The love rate in parent increases as their education level increases. Despite of all these factors, mothers are seen as the most loving parents in the families than fathers. However, the life of a child is much influenced by the deeds of the father.

Parents should spearhead and prioritize love for their children since they are the best they ever got from superior being. Failure to do so, their kids will develop a sense of alienation, anti-social and risk behaviors, diminished self- esteem and expression of hostility and aggression at all times. The world will also experience problems since the probability of bringing up generation which is desperate and ready to destroy it as a result of life frustrations is very high. Therefore, parents should love and care for their children in order to counter these problems.
