Work/life balance is at best an elusive ideal and at worst a complete myth, today’s senior executives will tell you. But by making deliberate choices about which opportunities they’ll pursue and which they’ll decline, rather than simply reacting to emergencies, leaders can and do engage meaningfully with work, family, and community. They’ve discovered through hard experience that prospering in the senior ranks is a matter of carefully combining work and home so as not to lose themselves, their loved ones, or their foothold on success. Those who do this most effectively involve their families in work decisions and activities. They also vigilantly manage their own human capital, endeavoring to give both work and home their due—over a period of years, not weeks or days.

Professional and Personal Life Success: A Popular Topic of IELTS Essay Writing
To score a good band in the Writing Task of IELTS, you need to have a cool head to do better brainstorming to ideas for the given topic. The topic may be hard, but you can always break down the task into manageable parts.
Two samples are provided in this blog, which will guide you to have a better understanding of the essay writing format
IELTS Writing Sample 1
Balancing career and personal life is linked to an individual and is different considering personal circumstances for each workplace. With the individual alone, the responsibility for achieving it lies alone. Define what it means to you to have a perfect balance. Understand that, apart from the monthly paycheck, the need to work is often powered by a need for fulfilment. A desire to enjoy life, which most pursue through relationships and other leisurely activities, is another primary power.
Included Facts or Examples
List all the things you want to do and write them down. That list should contain both your personal life achievements and your Professional Life achievements. What do you want to achieve in both these aspects of your life? Then try to analyze your life, now. Is your life on a course that will take you to your long-term goals, the amount of work and life outside? Then, pick modifications which might allow you to get where you want to be.
Setting targets forces you to reflect on the things of life and career that truly matter to you. These priorities could fall into a number of buckets, including families, wellness, work, travel, volunteerism, fellowship, and more.

Wrap up Your Essay
Take a step back and ask yourself: Where am I now, and in three or six months, where am I going to be? Document these priorities, create a roadmap to fulfill them, and then imagine successful achievement. Understand what you are dedicated to over the long run, and then recognize two to three things on a regular basis that can help you shift the progress in that area. Use time effectively, and then you’ll find yourself doing and achieving even more.
IELTS Essay Sample 2
A lack of balance between personal and professional life often leads to fatigue, a condition that involves emotional exhaustion, dissociative episodes of relationships, patients and jobs, lowered sense of achievement and can be related to efficiency decreases performance and poor health. So, how do we do it? How do we get the balance, which can make our professional and personal life successful?
Required to maintain fluency between private and professional life is known as the balance of work life.
Include Examples or Facts
Take your spouse or at least your non-working buddies to organize a vacation. Take a break from your everyday life and promise yourself that throughout the break you won’t take up work-related actions.
Maintaining a group of mates based on non-work. Otherwise, all you’re going to chat about every time you meet up with your mates will be start-ups, fundraising, TechCircle reports, etc. You need a circle that will also keep you involved in other activities. Whether it’s sports, video games, movies, hopping for food or something else you would like.

Your family and friends are the ones who help you survive these rough times of business. What is the joy of doing a secret project only to break ties with your loved ones? Plan to meet them, arrange a visit or call for a weekend, whatever you want. But for your personal life, don’t just miss out. Hobbies will give you a nice lonely time. Painting, reading, music, dancing, sports, remember to make time for them, whatever you want.
A hobby will do the same thing a beach does, unwinding you and relieving you from any excessive tension. A hobby will encourage you to communicate with the child inside you.
We miss out on our exercise routines in the race for start-up duties. Take time to exercise, stroll, run and enjoy nutritious meals.
IELTS Writing Task 2
IELTS Writing Task 2 expects you to write a minimum of 250 words. You will be given a point and will be tried on your capacity to react by offering and defending an input, talking about the theme, summing up subtleties, illustrating issues , distinguishing potential arrangements and supporting what you compose with reasons, contentions and important models from your own insight or experience.
The evaluation of Task 2 conveys more weight in marking than Task 1. For example, an employee who works a lot of hours often skips some events of their life due to poor time management which leads to significant imbalance between work and private life. Moreover, this problem can be caused because of too high personal ambitions. A lot of individuals often set career goals that are almost impossible to realize. For instance, ambitious employees work a lot to achieve goals and as a result are confused between them.
However, the problem of work-life balance can be addressed by organizing their schedule and having support by their nuclear family. Implementing time management skills to separate working hours and free time will help to set clear boundaries between work and private life. For example, using apps to control their time management, there is a 60 percent less chance that they will be distracted by work. Also, support from their parents and children will help to bridge the boundaries between work and personal life, because they will spend more time with them. For example, support can be as a sharing household duty to organize their time.
In conclusion, the primary reasons of this issue are poor time management skills and too high expectations from oneself. So, the problem of balance between professional and personal life can be solved by organizing their times and support of close people.
